After a couple of good dry snow storms the trees and shrubs are well plastered. This view is looking down BC Hydro’s Right of Way to where the power cable comes ashore on Denman Island after crossing Baynes Sound. Denman Conservancy is trying to persuade Hydro and BC Highways to steward the vegetation on the RoW as some Gary Oak ecosystem species are established on this cleared land.
