An exciting sight from the Denman ferry last Saturday morning. A pod of Orcas was spotted swimming south down Baynes Sound-coming to feed on spawning herring no doubt. The ship’s captain obligingly diverted the ferry to get a closer look-thanks! I have posted other shots at www.denmanlandscape.blogspot.com
