Work parties tackled several trail upgrade projects last Monday, 11 April. Notably a new boardwalk section was built at the western end of the Long Log Trail and a culvert was installed on the Pickles Trail nearby. We won’t know how well these improvements will perform until the monsoon returns – next November? Vegetation (stinging nettle etc.) was cleared from the Slough Trail. Thanks to all our volunteers, especially to Bruce Holden, the boardwalk king.
