This morning (24 June) the last of my Violet-green babies left the nest box and is chasing adults around begging to be fed.
This all began on:
- May 8th when the pair in possession of the nest box began copulating on the power line, then
- on May 29th the female was making feeding runs and hauling fecal sacs,
- on June 15th all feeding was being done to babies sticking out of the hole, and
- on June 24th the last baby was out of the box and actively chasing adults for food.
