I got out at 6 this morning to Boyle Point.  The resident pair were there fishing in among some harbour seals quite successfully.  The female brought her catch back to the nest to feed.  No sign at all of eggs in the nest.

Although these guys have built a really good looking nest they haven’t got any eggs in it.  I’m not sure what date would be considered too late for eagles to begin laying.  I know that in 2010 they were feeding hatchlings on May 24th and in 2016 were feeding good sized babies on May 17th. Dennis.
