The objective today was to scope the Hawthorn shrub issue. Overall aim is to prevent the invasion of the meadow by Hawthorn bushes and eliminate them elsewhere if they are not serving privacy or decorative purposes.

A 150 cm specimen was chosen to see what the root system is like. A strong taproot!
