Bonsai Broom?
Or possibly ‘Lawn Broom’?

Well, the area was flattened and seeded with grass 9 summers ago and has been mowed more or less regularly ever since, so I could call it a lawn I suppose.

Nevertheless broom plants persist, as well as many of the dandelion clan. The droughty summers with no watering are hard on the grass.

Score for today 1 broom plant.
