Cycle The Tour – June 13 and 14, 2026
The Denman Island Home & Garden Tour team is once again welcoming cyclists to take part in this much-loved annual event. With well over 100 riders participating in recent years, the strong visible presence of cyclists has added an appreciated “green transportation” value to the Tour — a perfect fit for an event dedicated to conservation.
Why Cycle the Tour?
The Tour raises vital funds to protect the natural beauty of Denman Island, having helped conserve over 800 acres to date. Encouraging human-powered, emissions-free travel aligns naturally with this mission. In recognition of our ever-growing awareness of climate change, we are thrilled to reward those who choose to ride.

By cycling the tour you can :
- Support conservation through sustainable transportation
- Skip ferry lineups during this busy weekend
- Enjoy quieter riding along the island’s all-purpose crushed gravel trail beside much of Denman Road
- Experience the island at a relaxed pace
- Enter our cyclists’ prize draw – see below for details
Route Details

The full Tour route is approximately 36 km, with about 16 km on gravel roads, and includes some hills. Please wear visible clothing and/or use bike lights when riding on roads to ensure motorists can see you.
Bring your water bottle and pack a lunch — or take advantage of the delicious meal offerings
from local Denman Island eateries along the way.
